Campo Baixo (in Cape Verdean Creole, written in ALUPEC: Kanpu Baxu), is a small settlement located in the southwest corner of the island of Brava, Cape Verde. In English, the name of the village means "Low Field".

From Nossa Senhora do Monte, a larger village in the middle of Brava, Campo Baixo is accessible by "Aluguer" busses. Campo Baixo is linked to the rest of the island by a good paved road. It is linked to Tantum, the nearest neighbouring village in the South, by a minor road.

There are a few small shops and a school in the village, but no church. Close to Campo Baixo, a small chapel on a hill which is shaped like a ship, is worth a visit[1]. The name "Santa Maria" referring to the ship of Christopher Columbus is painted on the ship. There are similar monuments or chapels in other places in Cape Verde as well, e.g. in Vila Nova Sintra, the capital of Brava which is 15 kilometers away from Campo Baixo[2]. From the hill, which is close to the road to Palhal, there is a beautiful view of the village and its surroundings.
